Project Management Institute - PMI

PMI is the largest organization for project management worldwide, represented in more than 200 countries. As publisher of the "Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide)" has essentially contributed to standardization.

PMI Frankfurt Chapter

PMI Frankfurt Chapter was active already in 1988 as the first PMI organization in Europe. On the website you find also information of the Local Group Hamburg which has been initiated in 2002 by Thomas Kopsch who is in the lead until today.

IT Service Management Forum (itSMF)

itSMF Germany e.V. is one of the 40 national chapters of the international itSMF. Among the goals of the association are especially the improvement and further development of the de facto standard ITIL®, in order to facilitate the application and realization of professional IT Service Management for enterprises.


PRINCE2 is a European de facto standard in project management which has gained a lot of impact during the last years.


The "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Projektmanagement (GPM)" - German Society for Project Management - with more than 6,600 members is the largest competence network of project management experts on the European continent. Via the umbrella organization IPMA the GPM is interconnected worldwide.


The ProjektMagazin is an online magazine and professional portal for project management with interesting articles, partly free of charge and partly for subscribers only. A very comprehensive PM-Glossary offers many various definitions of terms.
